I use a different to-do app on my phone, laptop and work computer and none of them talk to each other

Every time I switch devices I end up re-writing the same three tasks because whatever app I used isn't installed there, or it requires a subscription to sync. I don't need anything fancy — just a dead simple to-do list that works the same everywhere without me having to think about which app I'm 'using' today.
